You’ve got the point exactly right. I only wish you’d pushed it a little further. Gen X didn’t grow up learning specific technology. We grew up learning how to figure things out when nobody handed us instructions. That may actually be our advantage after 50. The tools change, but curiosity, pattern recognition, and the willingness to break something until you understand it still work. Thanks for writing this. I’d gladly read the a longer version.
