The Courage to Suck in Public (Again)
Growth looks awkward, but silence kills faster than failure.
They don’t tell you this part. When you start over, you lose your rhythm. You lose your certainty. You lose the illusion that you’re beyond awkward beginnings.
The first time you publish again, or speak again, or show your work again, it’s not graceful. It’s shaky. It’s slower than you remember. You second-guess every sentence, every move.
That’s the cost of beginning again.
For me, it’s my Skool community. My 9-to-5 disrupts my 5-to-9. I burn the candle at both ends. I rush the process. I neglect the response. Day 24. Still awkward. Still showing up.
Because consistency is louder than polish.
You can’t skip the messy middle. You can’t wait your way into confidence. You earn it by showing up before you feel ready.
Perfection hides behind preparation. Progress happens in motion.
The act of doing it is the proof.
Hiding isn’t humility. It’s fear in better clothes.
So if you’re waiting to feel ready: stop. Start sucking now.
