What You Already Have
The stuff that's already working, whether it feels like it or not
Some days force reflection whether you planned for it or not. Thanksgiving does that. The calendar hits pause for a minute. You breathe. You look around at the people and moments that actually matter.
A lot of folks here in the U.S. are doing the usual today. Family. Food. Rituals that stay the same even when we do not.
But some of you are reading this in places where today is just Thursday. No holiday. No turkey. No break. Life keeps moving. I see you too.
Wherever you are, this is a good moment to take inventory. Not the imaginary perfect life. Not the someday version. Just what is already here.
A roof. A meal. A person who checks in. Work that keeps the lights on. Chances to start over when the old version of you has run its course. The basics we skip because the world trains us to overlook them.
Here is the truth: most of us are doing better than our mood suggests. Better than the critic in our head admits. Better than the story we tell ourselves on the rough days.
So take five quiet seconds today. Notice what is already good. Notice who has your back. Notice what you survived to get here. Notice what did not beat you.
If you find even one thing worth appreciating, you did the day right.

Always a good idea to take that 5 seconds and appreciate what we have.
