I've done that photo a couple of times JP with my husband.

I absolutely loved this well-done story, and am glad that you and your wife made it through that hard middle and came out stronger for it.

Thank you, Melanie! That marker has a way of making you stop and think. Glad you and your husband have your own version of that moment.

“Not the life you were managing.

The life you built.”😮‍💨

Kendra, appreciate you pulling that line. A lot of people are managing lives they no longer recognize.

Most definitely. It stood out to me. And I agree, it’s like autopilot. Managing what always was, when what always was is allowed to evolve, change, grow… And when permission can be granted to change approaches.

The part at the desk when they asked if you wanted to upgrade, and you said, "My right eye twitched." That was funny! Reminded me of something I would have done too. This is a great story of reconnection and realizing that the noise of life did not change the inside of the connection and the love. Great piece.

Patrick, really appreciate that. Funny how life can bury something without actually breaking it. Glad that scene felt familiar too.

This. When the scaffolding comes down and you find out what you built.

Appreciate that, KK. Funny how the truth shows up when the scaffolding leaves.
